Sufficient funding is pivotal to the SCLTC's ability to develop a well-connected, accessible, and forward-thinking transportation network in Siskiyou County.

Moreover, funding ensures that SCLTC can adhere to the principles of equity and inclusivity, as mandated by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. It allows for the implementation of programs that address the transportation needs of underserved communities, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and low-income residents.
