Title VI

Learn more about the Title VI Program.

SCLTC is committed to upholding the principles of equity and non-discrimination as mandated by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Title VI Program ensures that no individual is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any SCLTC program or activity based on race, color, or national origin.

Residents who believe they have been subjected to discrimination can file a written complaint within 180 days of the alleged incident. This process underscores SCLTC’s dedication to fostering an inclusive environment where all community members have equal access to transportation services and amenities. The Title VI Program reflects the Commission’s commitment to equity and social justice, ensuring fair treatment for all residents.
