Learn more about the Overall Work Program.
The Overall Work Program (OWP) is a strategic plan that outlines the transportation planning activities for Siskiyou County over a one-year period. This plan defines the scope and scale of planning efforts dedicated to improving the county’s transportation system. The OWP includes various elements such as roadway maintenance, public transit enhancements, and active transportation projects like bike paths and pedestrian walkways.
The OWP is designed within the constraints of available resources, including staff, time, and funding. Given these limitations, the SCLTC prioritizes projects that deliver the greatest benefit to the community while addressing complex transportation issues. The goal is to ensure that the planning efforts are both effective and sustainable, providing long-term improvements to the county’s transportation infrastructure.
