Commissioner Deutsch moved to Dunsmuir in 2008 and was appointed to the City Council in June of 2015. He was reelected to City Council and continues to serve the City of Dunsmuir. He served as Mayor for the City of Dunsmuir in 2018. Commissioner Deutsch was appointed to the SCLTC in January 2020. He serves as a delegate for the League of Local Agencies.
