The Siskiyou Transportation Agency (STA) is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare a Zero Emission Transit Strategy Plan for public transit operations within Siskiyou County.
This planning effort will include a feasibility study evaluating options for transitioning STA’s public transit fleet, including:

A no-transition option

Battery Electric Bus (BEB) option

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Bus (FCEB) option
The goal is to provide a clear, data-driven roadmap to support informed decision-making about the future of zero-emission transit in Siskiyou County.
Proposal Deadline: 3:00 PM (PST) on February 13, 2026
